As a Cooperative each member pays one monthly fee, which covers gas, water, sewer, internet, expanded basic satellite tv service, garbage removal, one underground garage space, ALL maintenance (inside and outside of the member’s unit), lawn care, and snow removal. Fees are set annually by the board of directors, which is solely comprised of and elected by the members.
The monthly fee also includes each member’s share of contributions to reserves, master mortgage, and property taxes. Members receive a 1098 statement at the end of each year, detailing the member’s share of the property taxes and mortgage, which may be federally tax-deductible.
